Child Welfare

Imagine a society in which children are free from poverty, live in happiness and have open access to adequate education and good health. Imagine a society where children who are even born in the poorest sect of the society, can be physically, mentally and emotionally healthy for the road of life. With this same vision GNSS started projects name “ Anmol kids”. We envision empowering, educating and motivating young individuals to be self-sufficient and become the future pillars Indian society. We believed this can be only achieved through Knowledge, proper health care of children and collective effort to bring in a solution for them.

  1. Helping a child to break free from the clutches of poverty and give the child a future full of hope.
  2. Providing love, affection and parental care to each child.
  3. Ensuring quality education to each child.
  4. Guiding each child to grow holistically and morally to enable them to become a responsible member of the society.
  5. Developing personalities with qualities of love, hope and courage.
  6. Developing relations extending to the child’s family (if any) and the community.

Anmol kids is a day care centre in which committed voluntary workers meet the families of those children who do not go to school and are from very poor background. In the day care centre these volunteers give them basic education and prepare them to get admitted to a school. They also teach them good moral values to become good citizens of India, family values, teachings on health and hygiene, general knowledge, manners and etiquettes and motivate them to become important individuals of future Indian Society.

The Anugraha Tailoring & LIterary Centres

The ‘Anugraha’ Tailoring and literary Centre was started in 2002 as a project to impart skill and educational training to local women and thereby improve their economic condition. We are reaching women who are being rejected, deprived of education and proper acceptance in the society. This project helps such kind of women to be self-sufficient and accepted. Dedicated female workers provide both skills in tailoring and basic education in different centres of Madhya Pradesh.

After successfully graduating from these centres, these women become economically self-supportive. Some of them are working from their homes by taking on tailoring jobs in different local shops and thereby support their families. Hundreds of women have testified that this program has greatly benefited their lives.

Jeevan Jyoti School

GNSS runs a school named Jeevan Jyoti School as part of its rural literacy project. It is situated at village Tarasevaniya, district, Bhopal, India. This project was started with a primary concern of providing Elementary Education to the most under-privileged children in the villages. Jeevan Jyoti School caters the needs of hundreds of children in Tarasewaniya and nearby villages. The school exists to provide quality education to children who normally would have never access to such education.

For the last 20 years, Jeevan Jyoti School has become a medium for drastic changes in the lives of many young children in Madhya Pradesh. Qualified teachers with ample experience and commitment are a notable characteristic of this school. Every year, more than Three hundred students attain good knowledge and education from nursery to standard eight. After the eighth class/grade, they are admitted in various higher educational and vocational training institutes in the city. Even though the location of the school is not very far from the city of Bhopal, yet it is in a rural set up with limited facilities and conveniences. The staffs of the school are deeply committed to serve these people. We want to be a beacon of light to this rural community.
